I was a young man that I would ever do a waltz, that was a waltz right there. I’m going, wow, it actually
worked out pretty good. You know, you start
to like things besides cheese pizza after
you’re 12 years of age. Nowadays, it’s like,
man, anything, you know, gives me chills every once
in a while, is just, wow. I’m happy that God gave
me some songs like that, that were just a little out of my regular wheelhouse. I’d like to do one song. This is a Christmas song that I co-wrote with another guy that’s just great about getting to the point. I kind of beat around
the bush, I got to say. In my song, things
have always been just a little
undercurrent, you know, trying to write a novel somehow. But I think the best– I just finished a Christmas
tour this last year, and, you know, you
can almost always tell the Christmas songs,
because it just– They have Christmas at the end, and that’s all that it means. It’s beginning to look
a lot like Christmas. Have yourself a merry
little Christmas. I’m dreaming of a
white Christmas. He doesn’t really say anything
about what the point is. I just thought, man,
we need to do something that re-establishes why the birth of Christ
is even important. I know that a lot of Christmas revolves around something else, but for us, it’s
the birth of Christ, and a need for a Savior. I just want to,

there are in the world. There’s a lot of angry people that feel unjustly treated and want to try to
make everybody kowtow to whatever their feelings are. I follow Christ
because I can’t fix you and I wish somebody would. That’s a good reason. That’s a good reason
to follow Jesus. I also know that He told me that vengeance is His, not mine. He says, “Vengeance is
mine, sayeth the Lord.” Yeah, there’s some
things that go on in this world that I don’t like, and there’s a lot of
things to be angry about if you don’t have
anybody to trust in, and you don’t have any power
that’s greater than you that you know is working. All things work
together for good. It doesn’t look like
it to me sometimes. But I got to do this
little song here because it’s an
interesting thing when people don’t look like us. What we think needs to change is everybody needs

requirements early on. God chooses the least of these, so that He gets the most glory. All of you who are, you know, really popular, just remember that God chose the least
